Yep, it's true! The foam in these furniture are made from a renewable resource: soybean oil. Instead of polyurethane, furniture manufacturers collaborated with Cargill to develop an earth-friendly alternative called BioH Polyols. To date, there is a growing list of bio-conscious manufacturers of carpets, flooring, furniture and beddings in the US that I'm hoping the green wave reaches the Philippines soon. It's about time we rethink our priorities and responsibilities. Our kids deserve a better future of a greener, brighter planet.
